And it grieved Him at His heart.

"And it grieved Him at His heart. " Genesis 6:5-22  "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD."  God sees the heart of man as nothing but full of evil thoughts and imaginations. And it grieves Him.  Truly, as corrupt as the thought of the heart of man is, he will never put God first in all his thoughts on what to do even though good. It will always begin with "I", or "I will". This is the basis of all evil thoughts in man. And it breeds a lot of evil and terrible sins before God.  (Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-...

"Seek the Lord and live."

"Seek the LORD and live." Amos 5:4-6 - "For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel." Just imagine the passionate words of the Lord to His children through His prophet Amos. What a loving, caring, and merciful Father we have. He is simply saying, there is no life apart from Him because He is our Creator and Existence. He is our only Desire and Need that can keep us alive till eternity. He is warning, "Seek not Bethel and others", which means, seek no other alternatives out there. There is no life in those areas except in Him. Many seek wealth, some seek position, and fame, and some seek power as their security. But none of these can mak...

"And it came to pass."

"And it came to pass."  Genesis 4:1-8. Genesis 4:6-8 - "And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. "And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him." He was wroth because his offering was not accepted and his countenance fell as a result of envy toward his brother Abel. His ego was altered before his brother's face and he began to nurture how to eliminate him. Cain didn't carry out his vicious act against his brother overnight, he actually nursed it for a while. Because the Word says, "and it came to pass", which means, he had planned it before he made it happened. He was already caught up in the web of envy and contempt towards Abel his brother....

A Chosen Generation. 1 Peter 2:9 - "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

"The Lord That Delivered Me".

"The Lord that delivered me". 1Samuel 17:33-50. 1 Samuel 17:33 -"And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth." 1 Samuel 17:37 -"David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee." King Saul assessed David as a feeble youth not capable of fighting the enemy of God's people called Goliath because of his qualifications as a man of war from youth. But David's testimony had to convince him and unknown to him that David's testimony exceedingly outweighs Goliath's. There are some saints in Christ many do not know in depths because of their physical size or appearance and disposition. They are actually those who have gone through thick and thin with God and in the knowledge of...
