"The King Thought To Set Him Over The Whole Realm".

Daniel 6:1-28.

Daniel 6:13 -"Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regarded not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times daily".

God had a good plan for Daniel through king Darius to set him as one of the presidents of the whole kingdom of whom he was first: that the princes might give account unto them.

An excellent spirit was in Daniel and he was preferred above all. No one can carries God's presence and will not be distinguished. God alone has an Excellent Spirit and Him alone must stand out through his saint.

God is a Master Planner, who sees and knows the end from the beginning, He knew Satan's crooked plan to fight and stop Daniel from fulfilling his destiny. Moreso, God in His wisdom knew that His plan and purpose for Daniel by far exceeds the affairs of the palace and the whole kingdom and He permitted the set up and conspiracy against Daniel.

Daniel was an embodiment of God's presence, His Truth, His Holiness, His love and in His perfect will, which attracted the disdain and hatred of the enemies towards him. You can't have His anointing upon your life and not have opposition and fight from the enemy.

In their hatred and strong opposition against him, they neatly planned out a conspiracy that was beyond him and against him which only God can take care of. His faith and trust in God didn't fail him. Same faith, empowered him to pray inspite of.

The kind of people that will stand against your call and anointing are those on the same ranking with you by God's spiritual standard and  as permitted by Him. It takes a king to fight a king. (David to Saul, Moses to Pharaoh, Haman to Mordecai).
Daniel was superior than them spiritually, but they thought they had more say than him because of their personalities and titles. It's deadly to look down on God's chosen servant.

The reasons why Daniel was hated is not only the fact that he didn't heed to the decree that was implemented when he prayed three times to his God with the windows opened as he did aforetime, it was because he was a captive from Judah. (Dan. 6:13).
This got them very angry that a captive who is meant to be a slave was appointed to be seated with them, even to be the first and most preferred.

By their reputation, they were the presidents, the  governors and the princes, while Daniel was of the captivity of Judah. They didn't hesitate to refer to him in that manner and in their words before the king. Meaning a man of no reputation and with no title to be recognized with. But, God selected him, God's approval and selection is not the same as man.

To you beloveth, it doesn't matter who has slightly esteemed you, hold on to God who has called you. He knows where you belong and where and what befits you.

God placed Daniel in their midst to confound them and to alter that which they hold dear as their god. (Decrees). When they make a decree no one can alter and it's usually for evil against their fellow human being like they did to Daniel. God has to use Daniel to stop them.

Dear saint, that place where you are, God put you there for a reason, to construct and reconstruct and to make you an agent of change for good and for His glory. Be prayerfully sensitive in that location and surroundings God has ordained for you.

When they thought they have succeeded in their wicked and deceitful plan against God's anointed. The king himself was helpless because of the decree made. But there is a God in heaven who can alter decrees. Only Him make decrees that can't be altered and not man. No one can share in His glory concerning this which the medes and persia were doing in their ignorance.

Someone has to be available for God to use to witness His truth and stand for His truth that will glorify His Name. Whoever God has chosen is blessed evermore like Daniel. Will you be available for God? But there is a price so worthy and profitable to pay when you allow Him to use you.

Darius was helpless, this is the end of man's power where God comes in and show forth His glory and preeminence over all. The King of kings and the Lord of lords!

He set kind Darius apart to stand for Daniel, this is God's role, He alone stand for His own when all else fails. When situations become too tight and difficult for man with all his ability and effort, yet no way out and all hope is lost. The Lord of Host, our King and Deliverer will intervene.
When a saints get to this pedestal, God alone by the power of the Holy Spirit show forth His glory in his life.

Daniel has to die to self completely through the price he paid, meaning, he left everything in God's hand. He paid dearly giving up his life to be eaten up by the lions which in God's mercy it didn't happen. God allowed this situation for him in order for him to be fit for the greater position he has prepared for him.

If it is some saints or servants of God we have here in this generation, whilst they make such decree deceitfully, which is against God, they won't see anything bad in it. They will say, "give honour to whom honour is due" and sure will quote the scriptures right to justify their fear and cowardice without seeking the face of God to know the intents and motives behind such.

But for Daniel, he gave up self-love and pleased God with his life. No one can escape God's judgment in this times and era of grace. If a man like Daniel can do this, dearest you and I have no excuse before God on the last day.

The conspiracy, and the lion's den was an experience and training and encounter for Daniel and for him to fulfill God's divine purpose for his life, in the whole realm and in the universe.

God did three things for Daniel, he saved and delivered him. He replaced him with his adversaries in the den because a decree has been made and they must die in his stead. God had to alter the decree by Himself. A complete salvation for his servant. (Dan.6:24).

The good Lord will fight your battles to finish in Jesus Name. (Ex. 14:14).

Daniel was brought out to the den of death by God Himself, and used the king also to intercede for him.
Beloved someone out there need your prayers, people are in situations who God has chosen you to intercede for. Praying for other goes a long way to bring about deliverance and salvation.

Daniel 6:25-28 - This was God's primary goal and plan for His servant Daniel through king Darius with a much bigger plan ahead and using his idea to use Daniel to bring salvation to the whole earth and nations in his time and not just the whole kingdom as it was intended in verse one and two.

An excellent spirit that was in Daniel was meant to be made known to the whole universe and not just to the whole kingdom. When God's presence is upon His saint, He won't allow him to settle for less. He gave Daniel special abilities, skills, potentials and talents to serve and made him a letter from His beautiful heart to the world.

God's good plan for you is bigger that whatever man can offer you. Live in His will and see him make a wonderful and precious vessel out of you.

God's Loving Heart.
